Description
Photograph of the exterior of the ranch house of Bruno Avila on Rancho Aguaje de la Centinela, in what later became in Inglewood, 1934. The ranch, whose name means "Watering place of the Sentinel", was originally granted to Ignacio Machado. The house has a shingled roof with a protruding chimney, white wooden siding on the walls, and dark wooden frames around the windows. There is an "L" shaped brick path leading through the front lawn to the door. The front of the house is covered in foliage, including flowery bushes that climb onto the roof, a medium sized palm tree, many stalks of bamboo, and many other trees can be seen both in front and around the building.
