Photograph caption reads, "LAPD officers poised in front of the mid Wilshire L.A. Bldg in which the Turkish Consulate General has an office. The protesters want the Turkish Gov't to accept responsibility for the 'genocide' which they claim wiped out millions of their forefathers. They also call for an independent home land, and restitution for the loss of persons and property." Photograph dated April 25, 1987.
