Photograph of the ruin of the gardener's cottage at Mission San Antonio de Padua, California, ca.1906. One of the four walls and most of the roof have collapsed exposing the thick walls of the adobe as well as the underlying beam and thatch structure of the tile roof. An arched entryway is at left. A roof beam, roof tiles, and other debris from the ruin. The ruin of another structure is partially visible in the background at left. Trees dot the gentle hillside in the background.
