Description
Covered on exterior with leather, painted with floral decoration (a rectangular band on three sides and top), on red background. Evidence of white painted floral pattern on top of lid, much has rubbed off. Brass studs also serve as trim decoration on three sides and top. Brass protective stripping for lid corner edges is missing; handles are missing. Small square nails used in construction. Much of painted surface is cracked and dirty.
