Image of the Main Exhibition Building for the United States Centennial Exhibition held in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1876, with captions at left and right giving the building's length, wide, and acreage; eleven surrounding vignettes portray scenes from American history and other exhibition buildings, including "The Memorial Building" or "Art Gallery, Philia." and "Independence Hall or State House, Philia;" goddess Columbia at top center with a flag, laurel wreath, and American eagle.
