Description
Visitors to the International Business Machines facility at Monterey and Cottle Roads, San Jose, as they tour the factory and see behind the scenes of how the computers are assembled, and quality tested. IBM employees, including women seated at the computers, explain the equipment to men, women and small children. In one image, one of the IBM tour guides holds a cigarette as he speaks to the audience. One display is titled, "Assembly Quality Control".
