Description
Photograph of the residential section of Ventura, ca.1920. A lumber yard is visible in the front right corner of the picture, but aside from this, the area seems to be mostly houses with a few churches scattered about. In the center of the neighborhood, there is an open park with a gazebo in the middle. There are prominent hills in the background there also appear to be no buildings or even trees above a certain level on the hills. The lot next to the lumber yard is empty.
