Description
McIntire is Gammey's daughter. Joseph W. Gammy is a veteran of World War II. He was born in 1918 in Florence, Wisconsin and passed away on December 30, 1989. He enlisted and served from August 1940 to November 1945 in the Army Air Corps. His highest rank was Master Sergeant he served in the 824th Air Engineers Squadron in Europe. He also was involved with the Photographic Reconnaissance, Photo Supply Section and Technical Sergeant Air Corps. Awards for his service include the American Theatre Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Medal, American Defense Service Medal, three Overseas Service Bars and Four Days Lost Under AW 107.
