Ambatovinaky Church's 80th anniversary, June 1955. F. Hallanger, A. Hoeimyr and Rajosefa Rakotovao are all sitting in front of the altar. The church is decorated with banana palms. The congregation is gathered to celebrate. The church was inaguarated in 1875. It was built by T. Rosaas and J. Engh. On the back of the photograph: logo of the Sunday school followed by this in Malagasy: "Jobily 80 taona - Fahatsiarovna ho an' i Mlle Ebbell zafikelin' Ingahy Lars Dahle, isan' ny mpanorina." ("Jubilee 80 years - Remembrance to Miss Ebbell grandchildren of Reverend Lars Dahle, who was one of the founders". Miss Ella Ebbell herself also became a Madagascar missionary.
