Photograph caption dated July 24, 1957 reads, "Burbank's Mayor Edward C. Olson, right, hands over one of three safety plaques earned by city to newly appointed police captain Robert Loranger. Mayor recently received awards at meeting in Los Angeles. It was first time Burbank had ever won three national safety awards in one year."
