Description: The prize Holstein-Friesian bull, King Pietertje Ormsbe Piebe 39th, the Los Angeles County Farm herd sire, poses in front of the dairy barn in Hondo. A farm worker holds the bull by a rope that is lassoed around the horns and passes through the nose ring while another worker holds the bull by a staff that is also hooked into the nose ring. Photo dated: Apr. 7, 1928.
