Description: In observance of Brotherhood Day at the Freedom Train on February 24, 1948, former Secretary of War Robert P. Patterson (right) escorts eight children representing Japanese, Mexican, Negro, Indian and Chinese races, and Protestant, Catholic and Jewish faiths. He explains one of the many documents aboard the train to them.
