Description
Photograph of a view of the corridor at Mission San Juan Capistrano, as seen from the west side of the mission, Orange County, California, 1885. Wild, tall grass grow cover the open space (quadrangle?) to the left. Several patches of the same grass are present in the area in the foreground. The corridor of what once was an arcade is in dilapidated condition. Parts of the stucco are worn off revealing the deteriorating adobe bricks. The buildings in the background and to the right are in similar conditions.
