Black and white photograph showing Reverend Herbert Brewer and his wife, missionaries for the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society (later the Methodist Missionary Society) at Ama Achara, Nigeria. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara hospital run by the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society.
