Description
Residents of Boyle Heights put more than $300,000 into War Bonds to have this Flying Fortress christened in honor of their community. Looking at the plane prior to its take-off are, left to right: Lieut. C. J. Long; Major H. W. Angus, Army Air Force representative; Mr. and Mrs. Myer Pransky of Boyle Heights and Howard D.
