Description
This circa 1966 postcard shows the Imperial 400 Motel and Eppie's Restaurant at 1319 Thirtieth Street and 3000 N Streets, respectively. Eppies locations - a common sight throughout the second half of the twentieth-century in Sacramento - were the creation of Eppie Johnson. The Imperial 400 - a nationwide chain - offered a pool, air-conditioning, television set, and access to the 24-hour Eppies.
