de L'Isle's map has been "reviewed and augmented" by Dezauche. Dezauche is also the author of the Supplement to the Diderot Encyclopedia where all the maps were found. Submap: Bering Strait & vicinity. Prime meridian: Paris, Ferro. Relief: pictorial. Projection: Pseudocylindrical. Watermark: Chained circle. Printing Process: Copper engraving.
