View 1 (2018-0097). Scorpion Bay -- view 2 (2018-0098). Scorpion Bay our first landing, Santa Cruz Isl. In September 1903, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Parker took a party of friends and relatives for a cruise of the Santa Barbara Islands on the two-masted power steamer, Avalon, under the command of Captain J. E. Matthewson. Cruise left from Avalon. Aboard the ship was: Misses Kamp, Glessman, Roher, Phalen, Nelson, Ferner, Lyons, Laughlin, Brennen, Hodgson; Mmes. West and Parker; and, Messrs. Parker, Tibbitts, Ringsing, Kassar, Gray, Allen, Farnsworth, Tobin, Reyes, Ormsby, Croner and Mattewson. Also have negative: no. 27,034 (4x5 in.) for 2018-0098.
