Photograph of Rock Camp on the Bass Mystic Springs Trail, Grand Canyon, ca.1900-1930. A man with a short beard kneels over a campfire as he cooks a meal. Camping gear, including boxes, pails, tins, packs, rope, a folding stool, and an anvil, litters the site under a low rocky overhang. A crude ladder(?) constructed from tree branches sits atop a pile of stones and leans against the overhang above. One small crate reads ..."Manhattan Club bar soda".
