Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the D.O. Mills Bank building in Columbia City, ca.1930 (1895?). The bank, known as the "Gold Dust Exchange" and built in the 1850's, is shown at center, a rectangular brick building on the corner of an unpaved road. To the left, the narrow side of the building can be seen, a single door installed in it along with a window which bears illegible writing. A bench can be seen situated just on the corner of the sidewalk, with a second to the far left. To the right, two doors and a number of tall windows can be seen on the wide side of the building. To the far right, an automobile parked along the sidewalk is partially visible.
