Photograph article dated November 26, 1960 partially reads, "Art Hand: Strong on defense. Gained position on his blocking ability. Big and fast, played steady ball. Coach Tucker rates him as the best tackle offensively in the city. Headed for UCLA. (5-11, 190)." Hand was selected for the 1960 Valley Times TODAY All-East Valley League football team.
