A 1962 statement before the Senate Fact Finding Committee on Water by Keith H. Ainsworth, the Assistant General Manager of the Coachella Valley County Water District. He briefly describes the Coachella Valley County Water District before answering several questions posited by the Committee, specifically on his District’s relationship with the Metropolitan Water District. This document also contains an October 18, 1962 letter to the Committee from Horace P. Hinckley, the secretary of the Redlands-Highland Soil Conservation District. The letter discusses the construction and politics of the East Branch Aqueduct.
