Description
The Sacramento Community Forum was a presence in the Capital City from the 1932 to the late 1950s, providing a platform through which residents could discuss important issues of the time and find education through expert lectures and panels. Topics ranged from “Must America Fight European Wars?” to “Our Foreign Policy in the Far East.” The weekly forum was facilitated for most of its run by Miss Estelle Phillips while primary venues were the Tuesday Club and the Sacramento High School Auditorium. The program changed its name to Sacramento Town Hall in 1948.
