Image of a full-length portrait of Colonel Max Weber of the 20th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment ("Turner Rifles"), his body turned slightly to the left with sword in left hand and right forearm resting on a grassy knoll; Weber's signature printed at bottom right margin.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; lithographer Jacob Schutz operated on William St. from 1863-1864. "J. Schutz, Lith. Pub. 177 William St. N.Y."--text, bottom margin. "J. Schutz"--text, artist's signature on stone, bottom right of image.
