Description
601 S Myrtle Ave, constructed 1887 picturted in the 1890s. Built of pressed brick and Tehachapi greenstone, the building plans still exist. G.A. Lawrence, John H. Bartle and W.A. Chess in foreground. Standing next to carriage is G.A. Lawrence, whose harre store is partially shown at far left. At right is J.H. Bartle and on his right is W.A. Chess. In the distance is the tower of the First Methodist Church.
