Description
"Built around 1900 on Sunset Avenue, the Cunningham house (seen here around 1915) still stands as beautiful today as it did then. John H. Cunningham owned this American Folk-style house with Craftsmen, Prairie, and Queen Anne elements. Cunningham, an original colonist from Minnesota, has the house built by another early settler, Joseph Broadley, after the original house on the site burned down in 1898. Cunningham, a founding shareholder of the Fair Oaks Fruit Company and its first director, purchased the land from James W. Wilson of the Howard-Wilson Publishing Company. This is an advertisement shown in Panama Guide."
