Photo taken from the Magnolia Blvd. I-5 freeway overpass of Burbank Media City Center, around the time of its final construction in 1991. The mall's parking structure and Sears department store are the main structures visible. According to the Los Angeles Times, the $400 million mall was partially financed with $50 million in Burbank city redevelopment funds and was built by Alexander Haagen Co. The mall opened in August, 1991. It changed its name to Burbank Town Center in 2005.
