Description
Photograph caption dated July 21, 1962 reads "Ash." The article partially reads "The taxicabs were lined up as usual at the Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank. But for the men inside, there was something different about their job. A Los Angeles cab driver was stabbed seven times and left on a deserted city street to die Thursday. 'Incidents like Thursday's bother you,' another cabbie said, 'but it's something you have to ignore.'' Cabbie Melvin Ash (pictured), North Hollywood, agreed.; See images #00138562 through #00138564 for all photos in this series.
