Description
Shown on June 2, 1931, is a group portrait of the eighteen member Sacramento High School Girls' Riding Club. The group later changed its name to Merrie Mounted. Miss Beth Hightower and Mrs. Dorothy Barber organized the class in 1930; half of the students rode at the Jones' Stables while the others rode at the North Sacramento's Sacramento Riding Club.
