Photograph of Mission Santa Barbara, California, showing group of about twelve people standing on the front steps, ca.1888. A picket fence surrounds an area in front of the mission. Three crosses over the main entrance to the mission can be seen. Two large bell towers flank the central facade of the church. At center, a circular window can be seen above the arched entryway surrounded by six columns. The group of people stand in a line along the steps near the entrance. To the left of the church, a line of arches can be seen along a long, rectangular structure.
