Description
Shortly before boarding his plane for a return trip to Washington, President Eisenhower thanks California Highway Patrolmen who were his motorcycle escorts. To one, R. O. Bossart, Ike said, "That's a pretty good looking button you're wearing." It was an 'Ike and Dick' pin. Photo dated: October 20, 1956.
