Photograph of five men on horses standing under the entrance to Big Pines Camp in winter, 1928. The horses are standing side-by-side and are tacked up in western gear. The men all wear long-sleeved shirts, ties, and hats. An archway reading, "[...]amp" made from stone can be seen above the men. A plaque is visible on the base of the archway at right. Two buildings, one with a covered porch, can be seen at left. A car is visible in front of one of the buildings, while tall pine trees are visible in the background.
