Description
Plates in: [Henry R. and Catherine V. Snyder photograph album], pg. [14]. View 1 (2014-4404). Joshua Trees - Kitty. Walkers Pass -- view 2 (2014-4405). "So named for topographer of John Fremonts Expedition into Calif. Elev. 5250 feet. June 1946" - handwritten on verso. Between 1944-1945, lived in the Cordonices Village housing project in Berkeley. Worked at the Naval Ordnance Test Station (now Naval Air Weapons Center, China Lake) between 1945 and 1946. Lived in family housing on base, Dibb Road.
