Description
Two Salvadoran Army soldiers stop a bus to check passanger identification cards in the town of Cabañas, a major guerrilla stronghold in El Salvador. The men are lined up and wait their turn to board the bus. Both soldiers are wearing a military uniform and holding M-16 rifles of U.S. origin. One of the civilian men is wearing a hat and carrying a backpack over his right shoulder. The territory was occupied by guerrillas 48 hours earlier.
