Description
A large crowd participates in a funeral procession in honor of a group of young men murdered by Contras following a demonstration in Managua's Plaza 19 de Julio. Many in the crowd are holding the black-and-red flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. The coffins are covered with the blue-and-white flag of Nicaragua and the black-and-red flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. Many in the crowd are also holding unidentified red flags, large flower wreaths, and the flag of Nicaragua. In the foreground there is a man speaking into a red megaphone. On the left of the image there are three female students in uniform holding one of the wreaths.
