Description
Caption: This house, still standing at 206 S. Heliotrope at the southeast corner of Wild Rose and Heliotrope Aves. It was built as the residence for Cyrus Campbell in the Pacific View Tract. The Tract was created by Campbell, Sartori and Myers. J.F. Sartori was a early-day Real Estate man and later one of the organizers of the First National Bank of Monrovia. Cyrus Campbell and F.N. Myers were Real Estate developers. Later this house was purchased by the Reverand William Uhl and his wife Lucinda, who passed to his son Emanuel C. Uhl and wife Anna, and then to Gretchen Uhl, their daughter and her husband Harry Booth. Possible Cyrus Campbell is the man sitting on the porch. The Bartles also lived in the home at a later date. It is similar to the Sartori home formerly at about 206 S Jasmine Ave, and now at 232 S Heliotrope.
