Description
Photograph caption dated January 18, 1960 reads, "No, Birmingham and University players aren't engaged in hand holding under basket - they're fighting for rebound after Birmingham's Duane Zeilistra (11), at far left, took shot at basket in opening round of Saturday's All-City basketball tournament at Venice High School. Birmingham was eliminated from championship play but Valley teams, North Hollywood and Poly, won to advance to quarter-finals Saturday in Sports Arena."
