Description: Pictured is the Los Angeles Country Club, one of the most beautiful and exclusive country clubs in the world. It is a perfect setting for the great tournament which started today under the sponsorship of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce. In the foreground is the famous eighteenth green, while to the right is the ninth green. Photo dated: January 5, 1940.
