Nikolais Dance Theatre showcase of various works created in the 1950s, 1970s, and the 1980s. All performances at The Joyce Theatre in New York City. All but the final performance were recorded December 28, 1986. The final performance, "Arc en Ciel," originally commissioned by the Paris Opera and extracted from the work "Schema," which premiered for the Paris Opera House on December 18, 1980.
