Photograph caption dated October 5, 1959 reads, "Federal Savings Plan Gay Opening -- A kids' guessing game, with a handsome pony, saddle and all awaiting a lucky guesser will be just one of the many features of the Los Angeles Federal Savings Association opening Oct. 8 through 10 at temporary headquarters at 12112 Sylvan St., Valley Plaza. Kids under 10 will be guests at special party and they will guess total number of pennies in a fishbowl. Event is for kids only but many special features for adults are planned. Above: Beauteous Anita Gordon, VP's honorary mayor, with the Gordon twins, Patti and Vicki, watching Manager Ted Jenson filling the fishbowl with money."
