Description
Photograph article dated October 22, 1963 partially reads, "A Pacoima man, who police said drove his eight children around in a car with the body of their strangled mother, was in jail today on suspicion of murder. Foothill Division police said Ernesto V. Acedo, 12991 Kagel Canyon St., was arrested after a 45-minute search by police about 11:30 a.m. Monday and then booked. Police picked up Acedo in front of his mother's house at 12867 Kagel Canyon.The body of his 29-year-old wife, Mercy, was in the front seat of the family station wagon, officers said."
