Walter has a thick, closely trimmed beard, a wide mustache, and slightly crossed eyes. "Kimberly Bros, National Galley, Fortress Monroe" is stamped in black on the verso. Title upside down on verso. Ms. notes in pencil on the verso gives the translations for three Latin words, and read "Non - not ; Finitis ; Finished Ended Expired ; also ; Sed ; But However".
