Description
Father Eugene Boyle, a Catholic ordained priest, was the leading social activist in the San Francisco Archdiocese during the 1960s and 1970s. Father Boyle announced in 1974 his run for the California State Assembly in San Francisco’s 16th Assembly District. The four, 60-second campaign ad spots reflect Father Boyle's platform on civil rights and labor issues, and are titled, "Bills-3 Reasons", "Delano-Alabama", "5 Reasons", and "Politicians".
