Description
A special machine operating class was established at the headquarters of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union to retrain unemployed members for other jobs in the garment industry. At the opening of the class, Lola Patino, member of the dressmakers' executive board #96, explains to the enrolled members the aims and purposes of the class.
