Description
Postcard shows a photo of Govenor James Rolph Jr., and former President Herbert Hoover, along with Miss Bay Bridge, Miss Prosperity and a collection of ladies representing Bay Area communties at the ground breaking of Yerba Buena Island on July 9, 1933. The postcard was made to commemorate the 50 year anniversiary of the bridge, started in 1933 and finished in 1936. Number 2 of a 10 postcard limited edition set.
