Photograph of Los Angeles' La Fiesta on Broadway Street, with former U.S. President McKinley on a platform in front of City Hall, 1901. Crowds of people are situated in the stands behind McKinley's podium as men on the street dressed as boleros and in military uniforms prepare horses and floats for the parade. A canopy in American Flag motif is spread over the former President's platform, while other American flag draperies are hung elsewhere. Many men in the stands are tipping their hats.
