Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the court of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, in Jerusalem, Palestine, ca.1900-1910. A group of people stand atop the stone-paved courtyard, which is set against the corner of two portions of the church structure. On the first floor of the structure at center, a large double-door sits beneath an embellished archway, and an identical arch stands beside it at right, next to a small concrete stair. On the story above this level, several arched windows sit in similar archways, while a large dome-like structure is visible on top of the building. At left, another area appears, composed of brick, and more arched openings. A small cross sits atop the highest rooftop, while the tops of trees and a barred gateway are visible in the foreground below.
