PHOTO: ADVERTISEMENTS: BOSS OF THE ROAD
Shows building with signs painted on two sides advertising Boss of the Road overalls, Neustadter Bros. Mfrs., San Francisco, Oakland; Wood Coal, Clavo Bros.; Worden-Meeker Varnish Co. Surrounded by fence, additional buildings behind and to the sides.
"H.S. Hoyt" -- stamped on back.
Possibly commissioned by the J. Chas Green Co. to document their signs. Company was owned by Jacob Charles Green, formerly of Varney & Green, between 1909 and 1914. Firm did outdoor advertising, bill posting, painted signs, street cars, railroad bulletins.
