His hands conceal a baton behind his back as he gazes sternly towards the dark, block pedestal which supports him. The near side reads "Erected by the personnel of the Philharmonic Orchestra". Large palm trees shade the park on the left while smaller trees stand on the right. Tall buildings stand behind short, lightly-colored fences in the background.
