Description
Daughter of Irene Rich, stage and silent screen actress, Frances was raised locally where her sculpting talent was first recognized while attending Santa Barbara Girls School. Her commission to create the Army-Navy Nurse monument for Arlington National Cemetery in 1938 contributed to her reputation as a nationally recognized sculptor. Today, Frances Rich resides in Payson, Arizona.
